Wonderful site. Over the years have had the Roy family mentioned many times by my mom. (Marilyn Bernaiche-Brailsford)
If desired, I can help to add more info for Lucina Laplante and Dionne families.
Regards,
Bruce B

I was researching 1st Cav and Phuoc Vinh and almost died when I saw your picture of HQ in Phuoc Vinh. I reported to that compound everyday for almost a year in 1970. Worked G3 drawing up tactical plans and then flying them out to fire bases. Thanks for the memories (sniff).

This is a wonderful site! My family & I lived in Daigle for 17-18 wonderful years. We bought maison de Willie Daigle and I wish we still lived there. But the Bishop asked us to move and so we did. Some day I'll be buried in Daigle. God bless.

You have a very informative site. I found out more information about Joseph Osanay Nadeau and Marguerite Abraham.
I am descended from them through my Grandmother, Albeta Burns (nee Pinel de Lafrance.

Good morning:
Thank you for your response. I did not mention that my mother was a Lsmieux..her mother an Adam. I noticed Robin (way back in France). My mothers paternal grandmother was a Robin. I have a Roy line to one of my great great grandmothers i.e. Landry, Bourgous (Acadie). Also there are Roys connected to the Lemieux. (Quebecois). Thanks for letting me visit. Time to unpack all myh geneology.. s leona

My husband, Jim, served with the 199th light infentry brigade in Vietnam in '69-'70. Have lost all contact but was hoping to re-attach with some of the buddies he served with. We loved having the opportunity to look over your map.
Thank you!

My mother was French-Canadian. All of my ancestors are in the line of Landry, Levesque, Nadeau and others. This web site is fantastic. I found more family from this site. I am still looking for a certain connection from My Grandfather, Jean (John)Pierre Levesque and his siblings. I do know there are several. I would appreciate any help. He was born in 1884 in New Brunswick and my grandmother was born in 1886 in Keegan, Maine. Thanks Ken
