The Ste Luce Catholic Parish was merged into the Our Lady of the Lake parish in 2007 and only the Catholic Church remains in Frenchville, Maine. The parish rectory is now in St Agatha, Maine

This section of our site is in tribute and honor to our ancestors, who were pioneers in the Ste Luce parish from the early 1800s, and to their descendants who settled in the Saint John River Valley in Northern Maine.

The Ste Luce Catholic Parish portion of our site is an attempt to preserve some of the early history of the parish and provides the following information:
