    • !NOTE: Louis left the village of Le Tanu in the summer of 1751. He signed on as a ship's boy aboard the French fishing ship Revenge. From the ship's log we know that Louis was 20 years old, was short and had dark hair. This was Louis' first voyage and he disembarked at the Gaspe on 21 Sep 1751. Louis was a farmer ("Cultivateur") in Kamouraska.
