My ancestry is rooted in the St. John Valley and Ste-Luce. My parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents are buried in the Ste-Luce Cemetery so your outstanding efforts and product in documenting the Ste-Luce Cemetery are especially appreciated. You have done an exceptional job; first, in inventorying the cemetery, second, in generating a product that is remarkably easy to use and, third, in providing an online product that is highly informational and useful. Thank you for accomplishing it and sharing it with us.

Note that the inventory of the Ste Luce cemetery was performed by John Cahoon in 1986 and updated by Antoine Paradis and Walter Fournier in 2003/2004. smile

Ken,
I am impressed with the wealth of information on the Ste Luce cemetery site. Your site is not well advertized enough in the Ste Luce Parish and in the community of Frenchville. The parishionners need to be aware of this treasure. Keep up the good work.

Hello, I found your site looking for my great and great-great grand parents. I still have not had much luck. You have a wonderful site! I wish I had that much information about my heritage. I have a lot of work to do.

Ken,
It is nice to see all the information you've collected over the years online. I came across your website while looking at Chip Gagnon's site on the Saint John Valley.
The lines I'm working on are Jean-Baptiste Roy, who settled in the Saint-John Valley about 1828 and his children and descendants in Maine. I've also worked on my great-grandparents lines, Francois Nadeau and Genevieve Roy, also in the Saint John Valley.
Anyone interested in information I may have, please get in touch. I'll try to help. smile

Ken: Great website!
I still get to Frenchville a couple times a year. Mom is doing reasonably well at age 90. On my last visit, I made arrangements to eventually be buried next to lot 436 with the rest of the Gagnon. I have not done much genealogy work in the last several years; maybe visiting your website will get me going again.
Regards, John

By way of introduction, I am half Legasse from South Brewer - "Sho-wa I'm from Bru-wa" - to add Maine would be redundant. It's great to see a site by a fellow Viet Vet that is well-constructed and complete. Great software. Combining genealogy with military history is inspired and natural. Thanks for all you have done.

You have a great site. It is well organized and very user friendly with a lot of great extras i.e. maps and misc. info. I will be sure to be making several visits as I tie in to many of your family members and feel comfortable with the accuracy of your data. smile

Such a prolific family line. I'm curious to know if heart disease is rampant throughout the blood line. My father, mother, two of my brothers and I have needed bypass surgery. My specialist believes it came from my mothers bloodline but I was curious as to other "Roy" lines. The problem arises between 34 and 50 yrs of age. Cholesterol levels on all of us are three times normal at age 30.

Hi Ken, Thanks for all your effort and work! You helped me trace our Gagnon line. I would never have had the time to do it on my own. So fun to see!

Hi Ken,

Just thought I'd say Hello to a fellow Mainer and genealogist. I live down here on the coast near Rockland. I drive truck (part-time) and haul taters out of the County once in a while. Matter of fact, I'll be up in the county this weekend. Great site! Take Care...

Great job Ken! You've really gotten the site up and running quickly, with some really interesting and cool stuff. I found the graves of relatives I didn't even know were buried at Ste Luce.

And thanks for all the help you've given me getting my databases running.
